Overview of the CV/Resume Clinic
The 2023 Berkeley Lab and UC Berkeley Postdoc Career Fair includes a CV/Resume clinic. The CV/Resume clinic is an opportunity for postdoctoral scholars to engage with recruitment and coaching professionals (“reviewers”). In one-on-one fifteen (15) minute appointments the reviewers will help attendees update and refresh their resumes or CVs to make them as relevant and interesting as possible.
Appointments for this year’s program have been filled.
Berkeley Lab Postdocs have access to additional resources through the Career Pathways Office. Resources include over 30 career and professional development workshops per year, quarterly one-on-one coaching sessions, and a postdoc training grant that can be used to seek external training (applicable to postdoc employees). See the postdocresources.lbl.gov website for full details.
UC Berkeley Postdocs and Visiting Scholars are fully supported by the Visiting Scholar and Postdoc Affairs Office (VSPA). The VSPA provides access to career and professional development workshops. This group also has access to the UC Berkeley Career Center, and one-on-one coaching appointments. See their website for resources, resume/cv examples.
